Hello! The brutal heat is finally starting to abate a little here in Austin, so in celebration I’m gonna put on some trousers and get out & about in the city. Here’s some of what’s going down in town this month:

Today I formed a supergroup in 3 hrs comprising of yours truly, Neil McSweeney & Carey Willetts from Athlete. We will be addressing the nation on the Lovely Dermot O’Leary’s BBC Radio 2 show this Saturday Afternoon. Tune in or check out. x
I’m delighted to announce that those lovely boys in Athlete have invited me to open for them on their forthcoming U.K tour. It’s gonna be a solo or maybe two man show which will be a first for me!

Very very excited about this new collab with my long time friend Brother Machine. If all goes to plan (and once his legal problems are resolved) we’ll be coming to a town near you! If you’re in Austin this month (God help you) This is definitely something you should bear witness to.

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year already! This year at SXSW I’ll be helping to host a daytime show at my favourite coffee house in Austin, Caffe Medici.
Guests include ATHLETE (doing an acoustic set) from London UK, and THE CROOKES, who are a great new band from my old stomping ground Sheffield. Show starts at 1.30pm on Fri 19th March & it’s free, (no wristband required) so if you’re in town, come on by. While you’re at it you can sample some if the best darn kwarfee the U.S.A has to offer.
